Spooky Bakeware

Halloween is my favorite time of the year. (I have more boxes of Halloween decorations than Thanksgiving and Christmas combined.) I can’t wait until I live in a house where I can actually through a proper Halloween soirée. I want to have those annual parties that everyone just can’t wait for! Sometimes when I am redesigning my house (which I do often) I design around a great room specifically designed for my Halloween extravaganzas. This includes secret bookcases, moving eye portraits, gigantic chandeliers, monolithic staircases, creepy butlers, fog machines built into the flooring… the list goes on and on. Actually now that I think about it, it would look damn near close to the house used in the movie, Casper. Man, that would be perfection. (I will have to write another post about this!)

Anyway, I love Halloween. I love to bake too. So much in fact I would open a high end bakery if I had the means. (It could still happen one of these days…) So when it comes time for a holiday, ANY holiday, I bake and bake. Living alone in Austin does not really add much fun to the baking since I don’t have a ton of people to share my goods with. My co-workers can only eat so much! But it does not hold me back too much and besides I drive back home to Houston enough to share with all my family and friends! Here are some of my favorites this year for the day to day Halloween baking. (My party treats would be at another level and be theme appropriate.) I have different variations of these from previous years but I love adding to my bakeware! It’s a good time!

Halloween Cookie Non-Stick Pan | $15

Halloween Cupcake Papers | $4 – $5

Halloween Cupcake Stencils | $12

Halloween Mini Pancake Molds | $20

Eerie Entrance Halloween Gingerbread House | $16.50
